MEG GALLAGHER
Visual Artist and Designer, Meg Gallagher has built a prominent reputation in the past decade as a creative.
Having worked for some of the best names in the fashion industry and more recently returning to painting as her chosen medium, she has accumulated a following of collectors worldwide. Born in the Deep South of New Zealand, Meg grew up with the rugged, rural, and beautiful landscapes of Otago as her backdrop.
Combined with a father that ran the city’s Arts Centre, it was an ideal breeding ground for developing a creative language of her own from a young age. Gallagher went on to complete a Bachelor of Design majoring in Fashion Design with 1st class Honours at Otago Polytechnic.
Dopo essere stata nominata One to Watch da Vogue Italia e aver ricevuto una borsa di studio per studiare all'Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano, la carriera di Meg nel design ha preso il via e si è presto ritrovata in ruoli di vertice presso marchi come; Collette Dinnigan, Camilla and Marc e Ksubi. È stato durante il suo periodo presso Ksubi che Meg ha coltivato le sue capacità diventando un'esperta nel design del denim, con i suoi pezzi visti su artisti del calibro di Gigi Hadid, Playboy Carti, Hailey Bieber e Jared Leto, e il suo prestigio ulteriormente rafforzato dalle collaborazioni con Travis Scott, Kendall Jenner e KITH.
